With a view to boost industry development and generate employment for four lakh youth in the State, Haryana Government is making constant efforts to woo foreign investors, said Chief Minister Manohar lal Khattar on Sunday.
While addressing mediapersons in Yamunanagar, he said that the State Government was organising the ‘Happening Haryana Global Investors’ Summit’ in Gurgaon on March 7 and 8, 2016 to present Haryana as an ideal destination for investment by foreigners, Non Resident Indians (NRIs) and people belonging to Haryana living abroad.
Expressing satisfaction with the results of the first phase of the ongoing general elections to Panchayati Raj Institutions in the State, the Chief Minister said that it was for the first time that a large number of educated youth and women had been elected.
He added that their victory was the result of public support for the Bharatiya Janata Party and the State Government’s decision to amend election rules.
