Mincing no words, the Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal on Wednesday made it clear that no one would be ever spared for usurping village common land, however influential he might be.
“The State Government is duty bound to bring every person guilty of usurping the public land to the book, and no one would be ever spared in such act, however influential he might be,” said Badal. Badal, replying to a query specifically pointing state Congress chief Partap Singh Bajwa that what action has been taken by the State Government against those involved in illegal land deals in Sangrur, said that government was minutely examining land record and stern action would be taken against all those found guilty.
“I have never believed in vendetta politics. It is the culture of the Congress party and its leadership only. I myself and my family members along with many colleagues were targeted during the Congress regime but SAD-BJP government had never indulged in such vendetta politics ever,” said Badal.
