Free de-worming tablets would be administered to all children in the age group of 6 -19 years on February 10 in Haryana. Under the Rashtriya Krimi Mukti Karyakram programme, students of all anganwadi centres of the state, government schools and Government recognised schools would be given ‘Albendazole’.
Those students, who could not take this medicine on this day due to any reason, would get the same on February 13. This medicine helps children in de-worming their stomach. Health Minister Anil Vij said this medicine would not be given to children who are Those children who are not enrolled in any anganwadi centre or school could contact their nearby anganwadi centres. For more information, one could also contact nearby health centre, ANM, ASHA worker and Government school, he added.
