Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Saturday announced the 'Mukhyamantri Shato Udyami Sarathi Yojana' in which five experienced persons of the society would be appointed as guides over a group of every hundred families, who would help them to understand the scheme and take them forward.
The Chief Minister made this announcement while addressing the people present after inspecting the Mukhya Mantri Antyodaya Parivar Utthan Yojana Mela organized at Ambedkar Bhawan in Naraingarh. He said that under this new scheme named 'Mukhyamantri Shato Udyami Sarathi Yojna', the guide would also see to it whether the family members are working or not.
The Chief Minister also distributed approval letters and cheques of the bank related to self-employment to as many as 15 beneficiaries.
Khattar said that the government wishes that people having experience in various fields like carpenters, goldsmiths, etc. should come forward and make other people Atma Nirbhar by giving them the required training. For doing so, the government will also give them certificates and money, he added.
He said that only giving loans to the poor under this scheme does not solve the purpose, rather it should also ensure that the people get benefit from that loan. The people should come forward and work for the upliftment of the society. Under this scheme, work will be done to take forward about 15 lakh families of Haryana with an annual income of Rs 1.80 lakh.
He also visited the stalls put up by various departments in the Mela. In his address, he said that several welfare schemes have been implemented by the Central and State Governments and people are taking advantage of these schemes. In order to make every family happy in the state, an assessment has been done through Parivar Pehchan Patra of the family whose annual income is less than Rs 1.80 lakh. Further, all such families are being motivated to become self-reliant by providing them the benefits of several schemes through Antyodaya Mela.
“Our aim is to uplift every family in the state. Continuous work is being done to ensure that no family remains poor. The main objective of the government is to increase the number of APL by decreasing the number of BPL,” said the Chief Minister. He said that the objective of organizing ‘Mukhyamantri Antyodaya Parivar Utthan Yojana Mela’ at Naraingarh is to make poor families happy. The sentiment of everyone in the society should be that those who are financially weak, should be made financially strong in the spirit of Antyodaya.
Khattar said that till now the schemes of the Central and State Governments were only being talked about, but the benefits of these schemes were not made available to the people for whom these schemes were drafted. Due to this the poor are becoming poorer and the rich are getting richer. This gap was increasing. These Melas are being organized to bridge this gap, added Khattar.
He said that under the Parivar Pehchan Patra scheme, a survey of all the families is being done and all the data of such families is being collected based on the needs and income of such families. He said that under this scheme, at first, the most vulnerable people have been identified and so far 11 lakh such families have been identified in Haryana, whose annual income is less than Rs 1.80 lakh. He said that those who belong to rich families and want to come forward for social service would also be encouraged and motivated for giving their services to society.
Khattar said that earlier people used to visit his office to get their work, but under this scheme the Chief Minister's office is reaching out to the eligible people. Under this scheme, Melas have been organized at 175 places in which 90,000 people had visited. In the second phase, these Melas will be held till March 17. These Melas would be held in 10 phases. In this Melas, loans are being given for shops, agriculture, animal husbandry and other works, Khattar added.
