PSEB Engineers’ Association (Central Zone), ludhiana hailed the Punjab State Power Corporation limited (PSPCl) for winning the Best Utility Award. The association, in its meeting held on Monday which was attended by a total of 89 engineers from the rank of assistant engineer to chief engineer, passed a resolution congratulating PSPCl management, engineers and employees for winning the award on achieving number one position among all utilities of India.
“It is the hard work of PSPCl officers or official which has earned this award,” read the resolution. Besides, the Association condemned the attitude of PSEB Engineers’ Association’s Central Body for not highlighting the news of award published in various leading newspapers, however, it was routine matter for Association to highlight various news which are against the interests of PSPCl engineers.
It also resolved to revoke the suspension or expulsion of various engineers from the Association as already demanded by the ludhiana region. Association, in another resolution, adopted the no-confidence motion against the Executive Members of the Association from ludhiana Zone for not highlighting the demands or grievances of the engineers of the zone. Besides, it “re-imposed faith” in regional secretary of ludhiana region.
