Doctors in all district hospitals in Haryana would be imparted palliative care training at Post-graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS), Rohtak.
Haryana Health Minister, Anil Vij said that the decision to impart such a training has been taken to further improve health care services.
He said directions have also been issued to all Chief Medical Officers to recommend four doctors and four staff nurses from each district hospital for palliative care training.
Vij said that instructions have also been issued to provide palliative care services in all medical colleges across the State to reduce pressure on PGIMS, Rohtak.
