Punjab police chief Dinkar Gupta proceeded on leave from Tuesday till the second week of the next month. In his place, the state Director General of Police (DGP)-Intelligence VK Bhawra will look after the work of the DGP during Gupta’s leave period.
As per the orders issued by the state Department of Home, Gupta’s earned leave for 17 days from May 28, 2019, to June 13, 2019, has been sanctioned.
