Chandigarh: “Busy” with its political conference at Maghi fair, Congress party was incognizant about the development. When contacted the party’s Punjab unit spokesperson Sukhpal Khaira, claimed that he had no knowledge about the issue.
However, later, he maintained that it was “beyond his purview to comment” and left it upon the party’s national spokesperson to comment on the issue. Despite repeated attempts to contact Congress national spokesperson and Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting Manish Tewari, he could not be contacted.
