Cong to 'click' with masses

PNS

learning from the recent poll debacle in which the Haryana Congress faced a shameful defeat, the party is now trying all possible tactics to keep itself afloat in the upcoming assembly elections.

In this attempt, the first priority of the party is to connect with the masses.

Haryana Congress President Ashok Tanwar held a meeting of the newly appointed district observers in Chandigarh on Monday. He also launched a tele calling facility for all the 90 constituencies called the missed call facility to connect with the people of the state.

According to this facility, people will have to send a missed call to a number to get them registered. Once the call is made the caller will get registered and then they would get a call from the Congress office to know the name of the caller and their pin code. Through this missed call service, the State Congress plans to connect with the masses at the grass roots level and acquaint them with Congress’s ideology. Ashok Tanwar said, “We have launched a mobile number 77670003, with constituency wise suffix from 01-90 for connecting with the people of all the 90 Assembly constituencies of Haryana and in lieu the callers will get a chance to connect with the Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee and know them better.”

This shows that Congress is eager to tap in the young voters and get prepared for the upcoming assembly elections in the State.
