Claiming that Congress is seriously non-serious to maintain the sanctity of Vidhan Sabha, BJP leader Manoranjan Kalia on Tuesday said that by enacting ‘drama’ by laying ‘dharna’ inside the assembly, Congress has made ‘mockery’ of democracy.
Kalia said that even the demand of bringing the No-Confidence against the state government also shows their non-seriousness, as a party, which has no confidence on its own leaders, which is evident from the fact that Congress demanded a written declaration from its own leaders to pledge continued support to the party.
“What Congress MlAs wanted to show by laying dharna in the assemblyIJ” Kalia quipped claiming that Congress MlAs were doing the same activity, which AAP MP Bhagwant Mann did by breaching the security of the Parliament through his video recording.
Justifying the non-supply of food, water and electricity in the Vidhan Sabha, Kalia said: “Vidhan Sabha is a just like a temple of democracy and maintaining the sanctity of temple is must.”
Kalia said that Congress was in the habit of bringing no-confidence motion against SAD-BJP Government, which it did thrice so far and each time the motion was defeated by huge margin.
