lashing at the Congress party for its announcement to stage protest marches in protest to the Prime Minister’s visit, Punjab Revenue Minister Bikram Singh Majitha on Sunday said that the Congress is totally confused after realising that the credibility of Punjab Congress chief Capt Amarinder Singh is eroding at very fast pace.
He said that such kind of negative propaganda of Congress would prove to be counter-productive and Congress would be totally wiped out from the political scene of Punjab in the coming assembly election.
Majithia, who was here to disburse welfare grant amounting to Rs 65 lakh and to inaugurate the welfare works, said that Capt Amarinder has lost his mental balance to foresee the crushing defeat of Congress party in the coming assembly election. He said that the strategy of negative politics of the Congress would prove to be a death kneels in the drowning Congress ship.
At the same time, showering high words of praise upon Prime Minister Narendra Modi for carrying forward the development agenda, Majithia said that Punjab would remain be thankful to Modi for allotting prestigious development projects for the state of Punjab.
He said that Prime Minister Modi is a man of words and this is just because of his impeccable political vision that he took solid stand against terrorism.
Modi has raised the prestige of Indian tricolor at the international level which is evident from the fact that the world leaders are eulogizing the Modi’s efforts he has taken to curb the international terrorism, he said.
Majithia, taking a dig at the Punjab Congress chief Capt Amarinder, said that he has become totally redundant in the Punjab political scene and he would only add miseries to the confused Congress lot by his visionless and directionless leadership.
He said that Congress now-a-days is fully engrossed in bickering which has made the foundation of congress hollow and the building would soon be collapsed.
Revenue Minister said that the attack on the Golden Temple, which is considered as the most revered place on globe, and blatant loot of Punjab’s precious waters by the Congress, has manifested its real character and the people of Punjab are totally disenchanted with the Congress party for such cruel acts.
