Punjab Congress on Wednesday called upon the Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal to honour at least the commitments made to the families of the martyrs.
Congress legislature Party (ClP) leader Charanjit Singh Channi demanded to “immediately” provide Government jobs to the kin of the families of the martyrs and those persons who were injured during Dinanagar terrorist attack last year.
Channi, during the Congress workers meeting at Dinanagar organized by local MlA Aruna Chaudhary, also honoured the families of Gulam Rasool and Nirmala Devi who sacrificed their lives during in the attack took place on the same day last year. Besides, all the injured civilians — Kamlajit Matharu, Sarvjit, Varun Bhagat, railway gateman Darshan and milkman Satpal Singh were also honored.
