Haryana Government has constituted a committee to study the implementation of insurance based cashless treatment schemes in Tamil Nadu and Punjab.
The Committee is constituted under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary, Home, PK Das and would also elicit current thinking of the Government of India in the matter including the implementation of CGHS and its variant.
Principal Secretary, Coordination, Anurag Rastogi, PS Political Services AK Singh and Secretary Finance, Sunil Saran would be the Members of the Committee whereas Director Health Services, Dr Kamla Singh would be the Member Secretary.
The Committee has been directed to submit the report within a fortnight so as to enable the government to take view in this matter.
