Despite widespread devastation after cloudburst, no relief has been rushed to village Tanehar in Dharampur constituency in Mandi, BJP leader and former Minister, Thakur Mahender Singh said on Tuesday. Former Chief Minster, Prem Kumar Dhumal had visited the village where most of the houses have either collapsed or washed away.
People have expressed anger and resentment against Chief Minister, Virbhadra Singh, who did not visit the devastated village. Dhumal has intimated the central leaders about the evasive discriminatory attitude of the State Government towards the hardships and pangs of the people of Dharampur. “There is widespread resentment among the people against the step-motherly treatment of the Congress Government with the people of Sarkaghat,” a BJP leader said.
