A helicopter carrying Leader of opposition and Indian National Lok Dal’s senior leader Abhay Singh Chautala on Friday made an emergency landing in Gurugram.
No one was hurt in the incident, a close associate of the leader said.
Chautala had taken the chopper of a private aviation company from Gurugram for Jind.
The INLD leader was to address some meetings in Jind. As soon as the chopper had taken off from Gurugram, the pilot reported some technical issue after which he decided to return to Gurugram where the chopper made the emergency landing, said an aide of Chautala.
He said Chautala has deferred his Jind programme and later proceeded to Gohana by road for some other function.
