The union territory of Chandigarh recorded its biggest single-day jump of 449 COVID-19 cases on Sunday, taking the city’s tally to 7991.
With one more COVID-19 fatality in the last 24 hours, the toll has reached 90 in the city.
A huge number of 3645 positive cases have been reported in the month of September till now while a total of 3295 cases were reported in the month of August.
In September till now, 34 Coronavirus related deaths have been reported while a total of 41 residents had succumbed to the deadly virus in August and 15 people had died between March-July.
