Capt Amainder Singh on Sunday minced no words to say that his 40-year-old political experience would be nil in case the Akalis won Punjab assembly polls this time too. “Considering the current state of affairs in Punjab, Akali Dal would be badly defeated. And if Akalis won this time too, consider my 40 years political experience as zero,” said Capt Amarinder while responding to a youth’s query on Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal’s statement that SAD-BJP combine would score third consecutive win. Badal, while claiming that there was nothing like anti-incumbency, had claimed that the ruling combine would register a win again just like people have supported regional parties in West Bengal and Tamil Nadu defying anti-incumbency factor.
