At a time when all political parties are gearing up for Haryana Assembly polls due to be held in October, Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU), Haryana has also announced to field its candidates to contest the polls and raise the issues of farmers.

The announcement came after a state level meeting of BKU held in Kurukshetra on Friday.

BKU, Haryana president Gurnam Singh Chaduni, while talking to the mediapersons said that the farmers union will field its candidate on several seats in Haryana Assembly polls.

Accusing the political parties of not taking the farmers’ woes seriously, Gurnam Singh said that political parties have failed to resolve our problems and thus, farmers have decided to contest against the candidates of various political parties and raise our problems.
