lambasting the BJP, Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Thursday said that the expectations of the people with which they had given mandate to the BJP in the country were already turning into resentment and it would continue to grow in days to come.

“It would prove to be a daunting task for the Central Government to fulfil the promises made to the people by the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the lok Sabha elections”, said Hooda.

Hooda said that Haryana was much ahead of Gujarat in terms of development and to support his observations, he also gave comparative statistics of various development works in both the States.

Hooda, while addressing a workers’ meeting at Sonipat, asked the party workers to gear up for the forthcoming Vidhan Sabha elections in the State.

Speaking on the occasion, president, HPCC, Ashok Tanwar stressed the need to further strengthen the organisation and said that people should be made aware of various development works carried out by the present State Government during the last nine years.

later on, while interacting with the media persons, Hooda said that in the ensuing Assembly elections, the main contest would be between the Congress and the BJP whereas the INlD would be wiped out.

In reply to a question, Hooda said that he was still firm on his statement that youth should be made party candidates on 50 per cent seats in the ensuing Vidhan Sabha elections.

Secretary, All India Congress Committee (AICC) and co-incharge of Haryana Affairs Asha Kumari, in reply to a question, said that as a result of complaint of sabotage and indiscipline in the party during the lok Sabha elections, the district and block level units of the party had been dissolved.
