The BJP in Haryana will launch “Saat Saal, Saat Kamaal” campaign to celebrate the completion of seven years of party’s Government in the State.
The decision in this regard was taken during a meeting held under State BJP president OP Dhankar with senior party leaders here.
Dhankar said on the completion of seven years of the State Government under the BJP, including two years of the BJP-JJP coalition Government under Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar this month, programmes will be organised across the State to highlight policies and achievements of the State Government. The programmes will be organised for the entire month across Haryana, he said.
It has been decided that Cabinet Ministers will highlight the achievements of the State Government through media interactions in seven districts of the State, he said.
The State BJP chief said the party has convened a meeting of the State council in Panchkula on October 13, in which directions will be given regarding these programmes and for making preparations related to the Ellenabad byelection. 3,500 party workers from all the districts of the State will participate in the meeting, he added.
On continuous protest of farmers’ unions against BJP-JJP leaders, Dhankar said the farmers’ unions have the opportunity to present their side to the public during the Ellenabad bypoll. They have an opportunity to go to Vidhan Sabha through Ellenabad bypoll, he added.
