BJP sends bikers to canvass in Punjab Polls

PNS

The men…the machine…the message! less than two weeks before the elections, BJP on Monday sent its young brigade zooming on motorcycles and cars to  drive home the message of its popularity among the Punjab voters and politically mow down its rivals.

Targeting the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) led Delhi Government’s “failure” to fulfill its poll promises, BJP flagged off a team of 250 bikers to Punjab to expose AAP’s lies.

With Delhi’s all ministers, except one, campaigning in the poll-bound states — Punjab and Goa, ahead February 4 elections, the BJP has also asked the bikers to “search” for AAP Cabinet ministers who have left the national capital for campaigning in the Assembly polls of Punjab.

“The people who were tasked to look after the problems of the people of Delhi are missing from the city. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and all his Cabinet ministers have left the Secretariat vacant,” said BJP’s Delhi unit president Manoj Tiwari, accompanied by the Union Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore.

Slamming Kejriwal for failing to fulfil his poll promises, Tiwari said: “BJYM workers would apprise the youth of Punjab how they deceived youth with dreams of eight lakh job promises and how the residents of slums and unauthorized colonies were deceived with the promises of development and regularization.”
