Demanding action under Punjab lokpal Act, 1996, a delegation of Punjab BJP on Wednesday submitted complaints against Minister Rana Gurjit and five Congress MlAs to lokpal Punjab Justice SK Mittal (Retd Chief Justice).
The delegation comprised of State vice presidents Harjit Singh Grewal & Iqbal Singh lalpura, State secretaries Vineet Joshi & Vijay Puri and State general secretary Manjit Singh Rai.
Joshi said that they have filed two separate complaints against Minister Rana Gurjit and MlAs Kushaldeep Dhillon, Sukhpal Bhullar, Amrik Dhillon, Rana Gurmit Sodhi and Angad Singh.
He said, “ In our complaints, we have detailed as to how it is a case of clear-cut corruption, as to how they have misused/ taken undue advantage/ abused their government position to capture mining business through their men,” added Joshi.
The lokpal assured the delegation of taking appropriate action after examining the complaints, Joshi claimed.
