Chandigarh BJP workers alongwith the city residents protested against Congress and local MP Pawan Kumar Bansal for their failure to provide drinking water supply in a colony for the last three days.
A huge number of residents of Sanjay Colony also protested against the area councillor Satish Kainth. Te residents took a protest march from colony to the main road and blocked the same for around one hour. The BJP leaders said that Chandigarh Municipal Corporation led by Congress failed to provide the basic amenities to the residents of city.
The residents of the colony are suffering due to non-supply of drinking water for the last three days but neither local councillor nor Member Parliament had time to look into their problem.This clearly indicates that they have no concern with the problems of general public and are busy in their corrupt practices.
The leaders said that there is no supply of drinking water in Colony for the last over three days but neither the councillor nor any responsible officer of Municipal Corporation visited the area. If Congress cannot provide the drinking water to the residents, they have no right to remain in power.
