The Chandigarh BJP on Tuesday submitted a complaint against Congress councilor Gurbax Rawat regarding electricity theft to the UT Administration. A BJP delegation submitted the complaint to KK Sharma, Adviser to UT Administrator.
The BJP alleged that councilor of ward number 9, Gurbax Rawat had organised a function to gain publicity on August 17. It was not a Municipal Corporation or any authorised Government function. Rawat had organised function for inauguration of high mast light without installing a meter.
The BJP leaders alleged that she had connected the high mast light from feeder in the park without any information. She also did not get any permission for the ground and not even paid any rent for that.
