Huge crowd converge from different roads
It was like small tributaries of people flowing into a saffron sea. People were seen walking at different lanes and bylanes of Sujanpur with saffron flags chanting ‘Har Har NaMo’ to the Chaugan ground since morning. BJP workers were seen dancing to the tune of a musical group hired by the saffron party.
Kinnauris style became eye catchers
Dressed in traditional dresses, people from Kinnaur came in large numbers dancing to the music of flute and drums. They came in style holding placards of Modi and saffron flags. Similarly people from other tribal areas were also seen dressed in their traditional attire.
Not many leaders get to share dais with Modi
Some local leaders were annoyed for not being allowed to share stage with BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi. Clear cut instructions were though issued by the party that who will be present on the stage. To make their presence felt, annoyed party leaders were seen waving hands whenever the camera
panned across them.
