Jannayak Janta Party leader and former MP, Dushyant Chautala on Sunday said that the arrogance of Bharatiya Janata Party’s leaders will end in Haryana Assembly polls, due to be held later this year.

Dushyant, who met the party workers in Dadri said that the people had rejected Congress chief Rahul Gandhi and had chosen Narendra Modi in Lok Sabha polls but scenario will be different in Haryana Assembly elections.

“In assembly elections, the issues of the state will be discussed and raised. The BJP led Haryana Government has failed on all front and the people of the state will give the BJP a befitting reply in the upcoming polls,” the JJP leader said.

The former MP asked the party workers to forget the defeat in Lok Sabha polls and reach out to the people of the state and apprize them about JJP’s policies.

Under ‘Mera Rozgaar, Mera Adhikaar’ programme, party workers should visit every village and meet unemployed youth. Get the forms filled by these unemployed youth so that jobs could be offered to them after the JJP forms the next government in Haryana, he said.

The JJP has promised 75 percent job reservation to state’s youth in Haryana, he added.

Notably, the former MP Dushyant Chautala is currently busy holding meetings in all assembly constituencies and strengthening the organizational structure at grassroot level in the state.

The JJP has announced “Mission 46” to win atleast 46 seats in the 90-member Haryana assembly in the forthcoming elections.

In 2014 Vidhan Sabha elections, the BJP had won 47 seats and had managed to make its maiden State Government in Haryana on its own. The Indian National Lok Dal had won 19 seats while the Congress had won 15 seats.

Currently, the BJP has 48 MLAs, Congress has 17 while the INLD’s strengthen has come down to 9 MLAs in the State Assembly.

In recent Lok Sabha election, the JJP-a breakaway faction of Indian National Lok Dal had faced a humiliating defeat. Contesting the polls in an alliance with Aam Aadmi Party, the JJP fought on seven seats leaving three for AAP.

Both alliance partners fared poorly as the JJP secured around 5 per cent of the vote share while AAP managed a merely 0.4 per cent.

However, the ruling BJP had not only won all 10 Lok Sabha seats in Haryana but had also maintained its lead in as many as 79 assembly constituencies out of total 90 assembly seats.
