The monsoon session of Haryana Assembly rained fire on Friday as all the Indian National lok Dal MlAs present in the house were suspended for the whole session on the very first day for allegedly producing a CD showing a Congress MlA demanding bribe for providing change of land use (ClU).
Speaker Kuldeep Sharma said the legislators will remain suspended till the end of the session. The INlD legislators, led by party secretary general Abhay Singh Chautala, showed a CD before commencement of the house in which chief parliamentary secretary, Ram Kishan Fouji, was shown allegedly striking a land deal and wanted to discuss the issue in the house before starting of the question hour.
Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda criticized the main opposition party INlD for their misconduct in the house saying that by disrupting the proceedings of the house, they are betraying the faith of the electorate who had elected them to raise the issues concerning their welfare in the August House.
Hooda said, “Neither they want to have any discussion on calling attention motions moved in the interest of people nor do they want to discuss the welfare works undertaken by the present State Government.” later during the proceeding of the house Anil Vij, BJP legislator who was demanding a discussion on the CD row was also suspended later. However after few minutes, speaker gave him some concession and reduced his suspension for a day and asked him to leave the house.
As Vij was leaving the house he asked the speaker to send Kanda out of the house, reacting to which Surjewala, brought resolution and requested the speaker to suspend him for entire session, and the speaker did so. Earlier it was Surjewala who brought resolution against the INlD MlAs.
Ram Kishan Fouji while denying all the allegations leveled by INlD said that the CD is morphed and is a cheap conspiracy to defame Dalit leaders. He said that if this CD is real and authentic, then the concerned person should come forward and reveal his identity. He said that it is a long planned conspiracy by INlD leader against him.
In the year 2011, Chautala family was indulged in such efforts. However, later their bundle of lies was exposed in front of the people added Fouji. On the other hand reacting to all this, Bhupinder Singh Hooda said that CPS Ram Kishan Fouji has informed him that the CD released by INlD was “doctored” and the allegations leveled by them were baseless. Earlier, also the opposition had leveled such allegations against Fouji which were later found baseless.
In the eveningM all the suspended MlA of INlD under the leadership of Abhay Singh Chautala and Ashok Arora, state president of INlD met Jagannath Pahadia governor of Haryana and submitted a memorandum demanding dismissal of CPS Ram Kishan Fouji and revoking suspension of all opposition MlAs.
INlD legislators alleged that they have submitted one adjournment motion, 11 call attention motions, two non government resolutions and around 200 important questions to discuss in the House. Speaker of the house intentionally named all the opposition legislators to avoid discussing important issues in the house.
