Condemning the "forcible possession" of Kaithal based Gurdwara in Harayna by HSGMC, Jathedar Akal Takht Gyani Gurbachan Singh on Wednesday asked the Haryana Government to restore the possession to SGPC. The Akal Takht Jathedar said whatever happened in Haryana has hurt the sentiments of Sikh community across the world and now Haryana Government should restore the possession of the Gurudwara to SGPC to maintain peace and harmony. "If Haryana Government failed to restore the possession, it would be responsible for bloodshed in the future along with newly formed HSGMC," he said. SGPC president Avtar Singh Makkar also condemned the "forcible possession" of the Gurdwara in Haryana and said it was done with the active connivance of Congress Chief Minister.
