Condemning the continued spree of killings by the Badals’ “killer buses”, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Tuesday said that once voted to power, it would eradicate ‘mafia rule’ in Punjab to stop the wheels of these killer buses.
Expressing deep condolence over the killing of father and son allegedly by bus owned by Badal family, AAP MP Bhagwant Mann said that now these buses have crossed all limits and it was dire need of the time to stop these buses to save common man.
“In most of the cases, victims of Badals’ killer buses do not get justice,” Mann said while citing the examples of infamous Moga’s incident, where in fear, members of the family later on denied to recognise the staff of “killer bus”, misbehave with a journalist by staff of Badals buses and now again father and son falling prey to the negligent power-drunk driver of Badals’ bus.
“It is no less than road terrorism which is being spread by the Badals’ buses in entire Punjab and these buses are let loose on the roads to kill anybody, that too without taking care of any law and rules,” Mann said.
Once AAP forms the government in Punjab, bus permits of Badals’ buses would be snatched and distributed among the unemployment youth, who were being beaten by cops, when they demand jobs, he said.
