AAP says Punjab's law and order situation gone from bad to worst

PNS

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Tuesday condemned the murder of RSS worker Ravinder Gosain while criticizing the Capt Amarinder Singh led Congress government for failing to protect the residents of state.

“It is not for the first time that a political affiliated person is killed in broad daylight but the incidents of this kind are happening repeatedly. The state police have failed drastically to get a clue of murderers in previous cases. The home minister is directly responsible for such kinds of happenings in the state,” said AAP’s state co-president Aman Arora.

Arora said that the law and order situation has gone even worsen with the change of guard in state.

All the illegal activities initiated by Akali leaders during previous government are carried forward by the Congress leaders now, he said.

Arora pointed that the Cabinet Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu had publically demanded from Capt Amarinder Singh to hand over the Home Ministry to implement the law of land properly which shows that the Minister himself confirms the depleting law and order situation in state.

Sangrur MlA Arora suggested that Capt Amarinder must hand over Home Department to some other minister who is capable and be present in the state as the Chief Minister hardly visits the state.

He said that the killers of priest Sultan Masih, Mata Chand Kaur of Namdhari sect and Jalandhar based RSS activist Jagdish Gagneja are still out of police net.

AAP leader demanded that the CBI must investigate the case as it is feared that all these incidents are attempts to derail the religious harmony of the State.
