To make an extensive campaign for forthcoming assembly polls, Aam Aadmi Party on Monday launched ‘Chalo Punjab Campaign’. Via this, the party would approach Punjabis living in country and abroad to come to their native land to free their state from the clutches of ‘corrupt regime’ of SAD-BJP and Congress.
launching the campaign, AAP’s Punjab convener Gurpreet Singh Waraich (Ghuggi) appealed all Punjabis living in any other State of country or abroad through social media that the time is ripe to save their Punjab from the corrupt regime of Congress and SAD-BJP, who have indulged in a political understanding to grab power in the Punjab turn-by-turn.
Accompanied by AAP’s Joint Secretary and Chalo Punjab campaign in-charge Sarika Verma, Ghuggi also launched a special app — Chalo Punjab Campaign — designed by a student of USA’s Stanford University Raghu Mahajan.
“More than two lakh Punjabis from country and abroad are expected to participate in the campaign,” said Waraich while unveiling a special helpline number 92502-23223, where Punjabis can register themselves to join the campaign.
Helpline number would be active from 9 am to 6 pm (IST), he said, adding that in addition, Punjabi can send their videos on their issues pertaining to Punjab, in the interests of state on whatsapp no 99152-74824.
