AAP, Cong leaders put nati'l security at stake: Majithia

PNS

Strongly condemning the abusive language used by Indian Youth Congress president and Congress MlA Raja Amarinder Singh Warring and Bhagwant Mann (AAP MP) for putting the national security at stake, Punjab Revenue Minister Bikram Singh Majithia on Sunday sought their resignations.

“By doing so, Warring has demonstrated his mentality and also the shame and frustration of Congress rank and file due to failure in forming Government in Punjab,” said Majithia while addressing a gathering to welcome 60 Congress families into SAD fold.

He said Youth Congress president should publically apologise for insulting people and on failing to do so, the Congress high command should immediately terminate him from all posts.

“In the event of not doing so, every Punjabi will consider that Congress high command, too, intended to humiliate Punjabis,” he said, adding that Warring, whenever need be, used to plead to Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Badal.

Majithia, interacting with the media later, said Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was an “opportunist practicing use and throw politics”.

“Kejriwal used Anna Hazare, swore upon children for not participating in politics, talked of maintaining a distance from Congress but shamelessly took their support...Today, many corrupt and accused Ministers and legislators are a part of Delhi Government,” he said, adding that if Ravana was a symbol of evil, “Kejriwal is becoming a symbol of lies and opportunistic politics”.

He said it was perhaps for the first time that a Chief Minister had been summoned as a criminal in a court of other State for untruthful and misleading propaganda.

Saying that Kejriwal’s policies were detrimental to the State, he said after deceiving the people of Delhi, Kejriwal was now eying Punjab but the brave people of Punjab would not tolerate a double faced outsider and would give him a befitting reply.
