The 17th Raid-de-Himalaya 2015 will be flagged off on October 10 from Peterhoff Shimla and the rally will conclude at Srinagar on October 17. It is a joint venture of Himalayan Motor Sports Association and Department of Youth Services and Sports, Himachal Pradesh.
Some new routes have been included in the rally this year and officials said the purpose is to highlight the less important tourist places of the State. On October 11, the night halt of the rally will be at Manali and during the way from Shimla to Manali, it will pass from Shimla, Kufri, Theog, Matiana, Dalog, Chamole, luhri, Behna, Shuad, Khanag, Banjar, Aut, Kullu bye pass and Manali.
On October 13, the rally will have night halt at Srinagar and it will pass from Salooni, Sanghni and Priungal in Himachal Pradesh.
