Twelve more people died due to Covid-19 as 611 fresh positive cases were reported in Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday. “The death toll has reached 390 in the State while the total infections jumped to 26808,” stated Himachal Pradesh’s evening health bulletin.Of the 611 fresh cases, 148 cases were reported from Shimla, 101 from Kangra, 88 from Mandi, 79 from Kullu among other cases.
424 people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours taking the total recoveries to 21027. There were 5365 active cases in Himachal, the bulletin stated.
Mandi has the highest number of active cases in the state at 1163 followed by 1100 in Shimla. Similarly, Mandi has recorded the highest number of positive cases at 4078 followed by Solan at 3917 and Shimla at 3607, it added.
Till now, 441200 COVID-19 tests have been conducted in the state.
A day before, seven deaths and 711 positive cases had surfaced in Himachal.
