Chandigarh on Monday reported 12 new Covid-19 cases, the highest number of cases the union territory has seen in four months.
Chandigarh currently has 62 active cases with a positivity rate of 0.44 per cent over the last seven days, a health bulletin issued by the UT administration said on Monday. Chandigarh’s fatality count since the pandemic began in March 2020 is 820.
According to the health bulletin, 1,969 samples were tested for Covid-19 over the last 24 hours.
