Haryana on Saturday reported one Covid-related death taking the cumulative toll to 9,666 and 19 new infections pushed the total case count to 7,70,331.
According to the health department's daily bulletin, the latest death was reported from Karnal district.
Of the new cases, six cases were from Gurugram, three from Panchkula, two each from Karnal, Yamunanagar, Jhajjar, Palwal and one each from Kurukshetra and Rohtak.
The number of active cases in the state was 675. The total number of recoveries so far was 7,59,990 and the recovery rate was 98.66 percent, the bulletin said.
Meanwhile. Chandigarh on Saturday reported six cases of Covid-19, taking the total count to 62,062, according to the medical bulletin. The death toll stands at 812. The number of active cases in the city was 44 while the number of cured people was 61,206.
