Maruti Suzuki, India’s largest carmaker today launched its own range of engine oils and chemicals ‘Ecstar’ at their Arena showrooms across the country. Ecstar which is Suzuki’s in-house brand of engine oils, lubricants and other car care products has been launched in several countries across the world and was introduced in MSIl’s Nexa showrooms last year and has been a big success according to Kenichi Ayukawa, Managing Director, MSIl.
According to Maruti officials the formulations for the oils including a new 0W16 formulation gives better fuel economy and better engine life. All new Maruti vehicles will come Ecstar oil as an engine fill.
