PNB celebrates Vigilance Awareness Week
New Delhi: Punjab National Bank is celebrating Vigilance Awareness Week 2019 starting from 28.10.2019 to 02.11.2019, with this year’s Central Vigilance Commission suggested theme of Integrity-a way of Life. The Vigilance Awareness Week, was kick started on 28.10.2019 with Integrity Pledge administered to all the staff members posted at the Corporate Office of the Bank by CVO, Vijay Kumar Tyagi and ED, Agyey Kumar Azad. L V Prabhakar, ED, while delivering the keynote address emphasized the importance of integrity in the development of bank and the nation in all walks of life. The CVO urged to spread the message of “Integrity - a way of Life” by all units / offices of the bank all over the length and breadth of country by organizing various in-house and outreach activities. Bank has organized Essay Writing Competition, Online Quiz on Preventive Vigilance and bringing Preventive Vigilance Maintaining on technology portal. The winners were felicitated. On this occasion Bank launched revamped e Learning Portal. An in-house Journal, named PNB Vigil, was also released.
NBCC MD warns employees of stern action
New Delhi: On the occasion of beginning of week-long Vigilance Awareness Week for the year 2019, PK Gupta, who recently took over the charge of Chairman and Managing Director of NBCC India (Ltd), a Navratra CPSE under the Ministry Of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA), has sent out a strong message to the entire employee fraternity of the company against indulging in any sort of corrupt and unscrupulous activities while discharging their duties at work place or outside. He reaffirmed that there would be no tolerance for any corrupt practices in NBCC or in the name of NBCC.
Vigilance Awareness Week observed in BHEL
New Delhi: Nalin Shinghal, Chairman & Managing Director, BHEL, administered the Integrity Pledge to employees on the inaugural day of the Vigilance Awareness Week at the Company’s Corporate Office here today. The messages of dignitaries were also read out on the occasion. Functional Directors, CVO and other senior officers of the company were also present at the event.
Assam Rifles demonstrates zero gender bias
New Delhi: Last year on Infantry Day, Assam Rifles, for the first time, had two Mahila Soldiers as Wreath Bearers for the wreath laying Ceremony and created history. This year, Assam Rifles achieved another Milestone in demonstrating Zero Gender Bias by having one Woman and one Man as the wreath bearers at the National War Memorial today morning, as part of the Infantry Day celebrations. The Force showcases the will and determination to train together, fight together and celebrate together...... sans any gender bias.

Zone. In his address he had stated about the history of the Corporation and current working of the Organisation and it’s values.
