SCOPE to organise National Meet of RTI Act
new delhi: Decoding the importance of the Right to Information Act, and how it empowers citizens, Standing Conference of Public Sector Enterprises (SCOPE) is organising its ‘National Meet of RTI Act’ on September 14-15 in Lucknow. The national meet will be inaugurated by YK Sinha, Chief Information Commissioner (CIC) in the presence of guest of honour K Ravinder Naik, IAS, Principal Secretary, Secretariat Administrative Department, UP.
Hindalco-Metra partnership for rail coaches
new delhi: Hindalco Industries Ltd, world’s largest aluminium rolling and recycling company, has signed a technology partnership with Italy-based Metra SpA renowned for its expertise in producing structured and value-added aluminium extrusions. The partnership aims to enable the production of large-size aluminium extrusion and fabrication technology for building high-speed aluminium rail coaches in India, underscoring Hindalco’s flagbearer role in upholding the Indian Government’s vision to foster superior domestic manufacturing capabilities. “We are pleased to join forces with Metra to introduce a new era of aluminium extrusions for passenger trains in India,” said Satish Pai, Managing Director of Hindalco Industries.
TPDL partnership for cyber security
new delhi: Tata Power Delhi Distribution on Tuesday announced its strategic partnership with the US-based cyber security and data analytics software company Utiltyx to enhance the company’s preparedness against future threats and challenges related to cyber security. “As we embark on the up-gradation to create utilities of the future, it is essential to create or acquire capabilities to deal with future challenges and build upon the opportunities,” said Ganesh Srinivasan, the CEO of Tata Power-DDL.
