In the wake of the coronavirus outbreak, the aviation ministry implemented a cap on domestic airfare in May. The Ministry has also announced the direct flights between Amritsar and Nanded will restart from November 10.

“The bids will now be invited on the enterprise value where bids will be invited on both equity and debt, Union civil aviation Minister Hardeep Puri announced on Thursday while addressing a press conference. The decision was taken by the Air India Specific Alternative Mechanism on Wed following a meeting with the home ministry, Puri added.
