POWERGRID conferred “Special Commendation Award”
POWERGRID has been conferred “Special Commendation Award” at ISTD National Innovative Training Practices Award. The award was received by Anil Saberwal, GM-I/C(HRD) on behalf of POWERGRID at the 47 ISTD NATCON 2018 held at Chennai.
Nafed opens its Retail Bazaars in Rohini
National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India ltd. (NAFED), the apex National Cooperative Federation, engaged in procurement of Oilseeds & Pulses from farmers’ has opened its Retail Bazaars in the newly developed residential complex of Delhi Development Authority in Sectors — 34 & 35 of Rohini. Nafed under the directions of Prime Minister’s Office and its administrative Ministry i.e. Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare is working on a plan of retail chain to distribute the procured stock from the farmers directly to the consumers at a reduced cost cutting down the intermediary expenses.
Weekly Summer Special Train
For the convenience of rail passengers and to clear extra rush of passengers during Summer-2018, Railways will run the 03051/03052 Howrah-Jammu Tawi-Howrah weekly summer special Train as per the following programme — The 03051 Howrah-Jammu Tawi weekly summer special train will depart from Howrah at 11.55 p.m. on every Thursday from 21.06.2018 to 26.07.2018 to reach Jammu Tawi at 01.20 p.m. the third day (06 trips). In the return direction, the 03052 Jammu Tawi-Howrah weekly summer special train will depart from Jammu Tawi at 02.30 a.m. on every Sunday from 24.06.2018 to 29.07.2018 to reach Howrah at 12.15 p.m. the next day ( 06 trips).
