French Minister Inaugurates World Class Solar lab in Ndmc
The French Minister of State for Ecological and Inclusive Transition H. E Brune Poirson inaugurated a world class Solar lab and Solar Energy Training Center in the NDMC at Pradhan Mantri Kausal Kendra at Mandir Marg in New Delhi. New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) Chairman Naresh Kumar presided over the function. Speaking after inaugurating the Solar lab and Solar Energy Training Center, the French Minister said that this project would strengthen the organisational commitment of the NDMC toward supporting the skilling the youth of the Delhiites for extending better employment opportunities in the modern Smart City era of India speeding in the field of renewal energy. And added that it would help for educating youth of various facets of renewal energy sector in India, particularly in the field of solar energy which has been a key source of energy generation worldwide. In his presidential address the Chairman, said that the National Skill Mission would be a milestone in the national development of the country. And the NDMC is fully committed to extend its all support to the project by introducing best practices in Skill Development. The Pradhan Mantri Kasual Vikas Kendra (PMKVK) for skilling of youth in the smart city New Delhi would not only focus on high quality training but also on employability of the youth of every section of the society. The Center has a capacity of skilling 4000 youth annually, he said.
