Mercedes posts 32% growTH in 2013
German luxury car maker Mercedes- Benz on Thursday reported 31.62 per cent increase in its sales in 2013 at 9,003 units. The company’s Indian arm Mercedes-Benz India had posted a total sales of 6,840 units in 2012.
Honda Cars domestic sales up 29%
Honda Cars India ltd posted a 29.49 per cent increase in domestic sales at 5,493 units in December 2013. The company had sold 4,242 units in the same month of the previous year, HCIl said today in a statement.
Yamaha sales up 37% in Dec
Yamaha Motor on Thursday reported 36.88 per cent jump in total two-wheeler sales at 64,997 units in December 2013 as compared to 47,483 units in the same month of the previous year. Domestic sales grew by 58.32 per cent at 39,777 units as against 25,123 units in the same month previous year, the company said in a statement.
Hero MotoCorp sales down 3%
Hero MotoCorp on Thursday reported 3 per cent decline in total sales at 5,24,990 units for December 2013. In the same month previous year, it had sold 5,41,615 units, Hero MotoCorp said in a statement. The company sold record 61,83,784 units of two-wheelers in the period January-December 2013 compared to 61,20,259 two-wheelerssold in calendar year 2012, up 1 per cent.
TVS Motor sales up 2% in December 2013
TVS Motor company on Thursday said it has recorded two per cent increase in total sales in December 2013, registering 1,59,495 units against 1,56,221 units in the corresponding month last year.
