"The entry level handsets lYF Wind 6 and lYF Flame 1 are equipped with high-end technology VolTE and VoWi-Fi supporting network," the retail subsidiary said in a statement here.
VolTE and VoWi-Fi are voice over long-term evolution and voice over wireless fidelity for 4G service, while lYF is the brand name for the Mukesh Ambani firm's smartphones, priced in the sub-Rs.7,000 category.
"Our brand of smartphones provides high density quality voice and video calls, multi-party voice and video conferencing, WiFI calling, high speed internet and seamless switching of a call from the operator to other wifi networks," said the statement.
Built on Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset and one GG RAM, both devices feature a 5MP front and rear camera with modes such as blink and smile detection.
