The Ziqitza Healthcare limited has completed more than three years of association with the Government of Odisha in providing 108-ambulance service.
Over the period, Ziqitza has reached out to more than 12 lakh people. With close to 900 ambulances in the State, 9, 94,760 pregnant women have been provided the service of transportation to hospitals. 4,216 babies have been delivered on board.
The service has helped mostly people from the far flung areas in the State. The average number of people served has jumped more than 90-100 per cent annually.
Apart from the 108 service, Ziqitza Healthcare ltd has also organised several First Responder Programmes to sensitize the public of the protocols governing the service.
