PNS

A meeting to bring awareness among the young generation was held here on Sunday under the aegis of the Odisha Civil liberty Forum (OClF) with Baleswar MP Rabindra Jena attending it as the chief guest.

Jena stressed on awareness about the country’s Constitution among youths. Development of the country cannot take place if students and youths do not know the Constitution which contains the rights and duties of the citizens, he said.

“Since people from various walks of life are not aware of their rights, they fail to exercise them. It won’t be possible to form a healthy society without having knowledge about the Constitutional rights,” he observed.

The meeting was presided over by the OClF vice-president Pramod Pattnaik while Baleswar Municipality Chairman Alok Sahu, OClF chairman Merusagar Das, former ZP president Girish Chandra Dash, Smruti Priyadarshini and Ramchandra Jena, among others, addressed it.
