Carrying holy birthplace soil of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, the Utkala Bikash Juba Parisada (UBJP) is now on a nation-wide ‘Netaji Janma Mati Yatra’ beginning from January 16. The Yatra, which began from Netaji’s birthplace in Cuttack, will culminate at his war field in Imphal. The UBJP has been demanding declassification of Netaji’s files by the Union Government.

As part of its mission, the UBJP began holding a series of programmes in Kolkata from Sunday. The programmes include ‘Welcome to Holy Soil’ by political and nonpolitical organisations, interactions with college students, visiting the Kolkata Corporation followed by a Press meet, informed UBJP president Debi Prasad Prusti.
