The Gramodaya, 2017 was organised by the Rural Managers’ Association of the Xavier School of Rural Management (XSRM), Xavier University with an objective for promotion of products and services, studying consumer perception, price preference and product preferences in the rural area in Sakhigopal in Puri district on Sunday.
Inaugurating the programme Satyabadi block Chairperson Sasmita Pradhan emphasised on the fact that such events are a great learning opportunity for the budding rural managers. ‘Gramodaya’ will be very much helpful to rural people as it will allow them to know about products and get trained, she added.
During the programme, organisations like Mahila Udyog, Eicher Tractors showcased their products. While Union Bank aimed at creating awareness about different types of schemes and services provided by the bank and Nalco conducted surveys for the existing SHGs.
