The three-day management cultural fest of Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar (XIMB), Xpressions, one of the biggest management-cultural fest across India, marked its first day extravaganza here on Thursday.
The IIIT, Bhubaneswar crowned as the winners in the Aaghaz, the Nukkad Natak competition by X-Stage, leaving back XIMB as the runners-up, expressing reality in the form of theatre showing some real emotions and leaving the crowd touched.
Soon after, the XIMBMUN, a UN simulation event by SpeakUp, was held in whihc variety of opinions and ideas pertaining to the current global scenarios were presented followed by the Nirnay and Resonance, online simulation game, where participants showcased their business acumen and feasibility.
The International Relations Committee conducted Zorb It Out, a unique quiz-cum-gaming event was a tie between Globtrotters and D Generation Z and the AdValorem by X-Seed helped the participants test their entrepreneurial acumen. Later a case study competition by X-Fin, Fincaso, was won by team Affluentia from NMIMS and XIMB was the runners-up while in Paint@XIMB Aanchal Priyadarshini, a student from DAV Public School was crowned as winner and Bharatendu Panda from XIMB was runners up.
The evening began with an electrifying performance by Zephyrtone, the youngest electronic pop music duo and ended with a rib-tickling performance by Comedy Adda featuring Gaurav Kapoor
