The Social Responsibility Cell of the Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar (XIMB) in association with the Blood Connect conducted a blood donation drive at XIMB here on Wednesday to commemorate the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
Commissioner of Police Dr Sudhansu Sarangi attended as chief guest and inaugurated the drive in which students and faculty donated blood and validates the famous tagline, “Karke Dekho, Acha Lagta Hai”.
As many as 66 units of blood were collected and the donors of the drive were awarded certificates. The drive concluded with an unspoken promise between the XIMB and the Blood Connect to conduct such drives in future.
